InJourney Airports has departed prospective Hajj pilgrims through 14 airports under its management since 21 April 2026. The on-time performance (OTP) rate for departure flights was recorded at 96 percent.
InJourney Airports’ President Director, Mohammad R. Pahlevi, stated that as of 9 May 2026, the number of prospective Hajj pilgrims departed to the Holy Land reached 126,097 people.
During this period, InJourney Airports handled 322 Hajj flights. Of these, 310 flights departed on time.
“Cumulatively, the OTP for Hajj departure flights at the 14 airports reached 96 percent,” Pahlevi said in a written statement on Sunday (10/5/2026).
Pahlevi appreciated the support from various involved agencies, starting from the Hajj Worship Organising Committee (PPIH), airlines, AirNav Indonesia, ground handling operators, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, to the Ministry of Transportation.
“All parties have carried out good planning and coordination, from the process at the Hajj dormitories, the journey to the airport, to departure services at the airport and the boarding process onto the aircraft,” he said.
Security checks on prospective Hajj pilgrims and their luggage have also been conducted since the Hajj dormitories to smooth the departure process.
InJourney Airports assigned aviation security personnel along with security inspection equipment at the Hajj dormitory locations.
The company also prepared several supporting facilities at the airports, including the operation of the Special Hajj and Umrah Terminal 2F at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
During the period from 21 April to 9 May 2026, the number of prospective Hajj pilgrims departed through Soekarno-Hatta Airport reached 20,031 people in 47 flying groups (kloter).
“The smooth departure is supported by the presence of a special terminal to serve prospective Hajj pilgrims,” he said.
