InJourney Airports Business Performance Optimises Under Danantara

PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (Persero), operating as InJourney Airports, reported a 3% increase in operating revenue to Rp10.23 trillion for the first half of 2026 compared to the same period last year. The company achieved this growth despite the global aviation industry facing significant challenges.

The primary driver of this revenue increase was the strengthening of the non-aeronautical business segment. The company successfully transformed commercial areas at key airports, including Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, and Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar. At Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta, the commercial area was redesigned to enhance the passenger shopping experience. The new terminal at Sultan Hasanuddin, which opened in November 2025, features a modern commercial area that has significantly boosted capacity.

President Director of InJourney Airports, Mohammad Rizal Pahlevi, stated that the contribution of non-aeronautical revenue has increased from 30% to 38% of total operating revenue. He emphasised that the company will continue to strengthen both its aeronautical and non-aeronautical businesses to create sustainable value for the aviation and tourism industries, ultimately boosting the national economy. To support aeronautical growth, the company is collaborating with regulators and stakeholders to open new international flight routes, including participating in the ASEAN-China Working Group on Regional Air Services Arrangements in Yogyakarta and the Routes Asia forum in Xi’an.

On the financial side, InJourney Airports successfully restructured its financing from creditors under the InJourney Group Financial Solutions concept in the first quarter of 2026. This restructuring resulted in a 10% reduction in interest expenses for the first half of 2026 compared to the same period the previous year.
