Initial Hearing in MPR Four Pillars Quiz Competition Judges and MCs Case Scheduled for 2 June 2026

The initial hearing in the case involving judges and hosts of the MPR Four Pillars Quiz Competition 2026 West Kalimantan Provincial Level will take place at Central Jakarta District Court on Tuesday, 2 June 2026. Central Jakarta District Court spokesperson Sunoto stated the hearing follows case number 335/Pdt.G/2026/PN Jkt.Pst, filed by plaintiff David Tobing against defendants Ahmad Muzani, Dyasita Widya Budi, Indri Wahyuni, and Shindy Luthfiana. ‘The panel of judges will comprise Presiding Judge Ummi Kusuma Putri, assisted by panel members I Gusti Ngurah Partha Bhargawa and Zeni Zenal Mutaqin,’ Sunoto said. David’s claims include full acceptance of his lawsuit and a declaration that the defendants committed unlawful acts. Ordering Muzani, as Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR), to dishonourably dismiss Dyasita and Indri, both employed by the MPR. Sunoto added David also sought to bar Dyasita and Indri from serving as judges in any official state activities at regional, national, or central levels. Previously, the MPR cancelled the rematch of the West Kalimantan Provincial Level MPR Four Pillars Quiz Competition 2026 final following objections from SMAN 1 Pontianak and SMAN 1 Sambas. Abraham Liyanto, Chairman of the MPR’s Socialisation Agency, said both schools agreed a rematch was unnecessary, and the cancellation had been agreed upon by all MPR factions. ‘Today, we held a meeting with the full MPR leadership and decided to follow what the schools have communicated,’ Abraham said at the parliamentary complex in Jakarta on Monday, 18 May. He added the MPR had met with SMAN 1 Pontianak and SMAN 1 Sambas last week and accepted their requests. Meanwhile, MPR Deputy Chairman Abcandra Muhammad Akbar Supratman announced that Josepha Alexandra, a student from SMAN 1 Pontianak who was at the centre of the recent LCC controversy, would become an MPR Quiz Competition Ambassador.
