Inheritance Certificates Now Handled at Mall Without BPN Visit

Residents no longer need to visit the Land Office (Kantah) directly to handle land certificates.

Through the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) services at Tangerang City’s Public Service Mall (MPP), citizens can obtain information and consult on various land-related matters in an integrated location with other government services.

The ATR/BPN counter at Tangerang City’s Investment and One-Stop Service Agency is being utilised by residents for information on land administration processes, from inheritance certificates to title transfers.

Lilis, a Tangerang resident who came with her family to consult on an inheritance certificate, said the service was helpful. The officers explained the required steps, including a certificate of inheritance transfer before the registration process can proceed.

According to Lilis, the officers’ explanations helped her understand the next steps.

Martin, a private sector employee, also had a similar experience when visiting the MPP to consult on a land title transfer. As it was his first time handling land documents, he chose the MPP to confirm requirements before proceeding to the Land Office.

‘After visiting the revenue office, I saw the ATR/BPN counter and decided to consult there. They explained what documents were needed and checked if they were correct. This gives me more confidence before proceeding to the Land Office,’ Martin said.

He added that the MPP concept makes it easier for citizens to handle administrative tasks as services from multiple agencies are available in one location.

The integrated service concept allows citizens to access various government services more conveniently and efficiently in a single visit.

At the Tangerang City Investment and One-Stop Service Agency, the ATR/BPN counter is available every Monday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM WIB. The service schedule is based on a Memorandum of Understanding between Tangerang City Government and Tangerang Land Office (Kantah).
