Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — CNBC Indonesia, a major integrated business news outlet, held the Road to CNBC Indonesia Awards 2026 ‘Best AI Ecosystem’ to recognise businesses that have adapted AI to strengthen public trust amid intensifying competition.

Ingram Micro received the award in the Best Enterprise AI Ecosystem category. The award was presented by Said Mirza Pahlevi, Director of Artificial Intelligence and New Technology Ecosystems at the Directorate General of the Digital Ecosystem, Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi), to Mulia Dewi Karnadi, President Director of Ingram Micro Indonesia.

“Thank you to CNBC Indonesia. We dedicate this award to our customers and principals, or Ingram Micro’s business vendors. Thank you for the trust you have placed in us. Together, we will continue to advance technological transformation in Indonesia and make the country much better,” she said at the Road to CNBC Indonesia Awards 2026 ‘Best AI Ecosystem’ on Friday (30 October 2026).

Ingram Micro is known for helping companies adopt artificial intelligence. AI plays a significant role in improving efficiency, productivity and innovation across a range of sectors.

AI adoption has been under way for the past decade. Its use is no longer limited to pilot projects and is now entering the development stage.

McKinsey’s report, ‘The State of AI in 2025: Agents, Innovation, and Transformation’, says more than 75% of organisations use AI in at least one business function. However, most adoption remains at an early stage and has not been extended across all processes, including document management and back-office operations.

Meanwhile, 50% of companies using AI for comprehensive business transformation—known as AI high performers—are targeting major changes over the next three years. This is 3.6 times the proportion among companies that have not adopted AI.

The data shows that a clear, well-directed AI strategy can directly drive significant improvements.
