InfraNexia aims to expand external customer base following spin-off
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Telkom Infrastruktur Indonesia, or InfraNexia, is aiming to expand its external customer base following the spin-off process of wholesale fibre connectivity assets from PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk.
InfraNexia President Director Lukman Hakim Abd Rauf noted that revenue contribution from external customers reached more than 19 per cent of the total portfolio up to the first half of 2026.
“Our external revenue up to H1 2026 is already above 19 per cent. We will maintain this figure even after the second stage of the asset spin-off takes place,” said Lukman Hakim during a press conference regarding the partial separation of the wholesale fibre connectivity business segment (Stage 2) in Jakarta on Wednesday.
According to him, the contribution of external revenue has the potential to change slightly after the second stage of the spin-off, as the assets managed by InfraNexia will become even larger.
On the other hand, revenue growth from external customers has shown a positive trend, with an annual growth of more than 30 per cent in the first half of 2026.
“We hope this growth will be sustained, matching the performance of H1,” he added.
InfraNexia currently maintains Telkomsel as one of its anchor tenants in the utilisation of the infrastructure it manages.
With the increase in assets post-spin-off, the company will strive to increase infrastructure utilisation while expanding its use to customers outside the Telkom Group.
This move aligns with the Telkom Group’s transformation agenda to optimise infrastructure assets and unlock growth opportunities through more focused business management.
Amidst this process, management ensures that the Telkom Group’s streamlining agenda continues despite changes in the board of directors.
Director of Strategic Business Development & Portfolio, Seno Soemiadji, stated that the streamlining process already has an established framework and organisational structure, meaning changes in directors will not alter the ongoing process.
“What we are doing is that we already have the framework, and that framework means, institutionally, the organisation has been established, so the process should continue as if there were no change in personnel,” said Seno.
In this streamlining process, Telkom aims to simplify the number of companies from 68 to 18.
To date, 24 companies have been completed in this process, while approximately 19 companies are targeted for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Meanwhile, seven other companies may only be completed in 2027, as the process involves divestment actions.
Management stated that divestment is carried out by considering value optimisation before a company enters the streamlining process.
Previously, Telkom stated that more than 90 per cent of the company’s network infrastructure assets will be managed by InfraNexia as part of the transition towards a strategic holding model.
This more focused management is expected to increase asset utilisation, expand networks and strategic partnerships, and provide infrastructure access to more industry players in Indonesia.
