Information for studying in Japan

The Japanese Embassy's education section provides various
books and brochures about studying in Japan. These books can be
read free of charge in the lobby. The embassy hopes the books and
brochures will be of use for prospective students at Japanese
institutions.

The address of the education section of the Japanese Embassy
is Jl. M.H. Thamrin 24, Central Jakarta. It is open weekdays from
8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.).

Each Japanese consulate also provides information on studying
in Japan. Addresses of Japanese consulates are:

Japanese Consulate Surabaya, Jl. Sumatera No. 93, Surabaya.

Japanese Consulate Medan, Jl. Suryo No. 12, Medan.

Japanese Consulate Ujungpandang, Jl. Jend. Sudirman No. 31,
Ujungpandang.

The Association of International Education, Japan has opened a
branch in Jakarta at Summitmas I, 5th Floor, Jl. Jend. Sudirman
Kav. 61-62, Jakarta (tel. 021 2521912).

Staff members can also provide worthwhile information on study
opportunities in Japan.
