Information and Schedule for the Depok Car Free Day Today, with Passport Services Available

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Residents of Depok can once again enjoy the Car Free Day (CFD) on Sunday (May 17th, 2026). This regular event, held every weekend, will take place along Jalan Margonda Raya and has become a favourite destination for residents to exercise or relax with their families.

The Depok CFD will begin at 06:00 WIB and end at 09:00 WIB. The area used includes the section of Jalan Margonda Raya from the Juanda intersection to the Dahlia Street roundabout and Arif Rahman Hakim Street.

As usual, residents will use the CFD for various activities, ranging from jogging and cycling to group exercises and leisurely walks.

The weekend atmosphere in the Margonda area is also enlivened by the presence of MSME actors selling a variety of foods, drinks, clothing, and household necessities along the CFD route.

During this week’s CFD event, residents can also find the ‘Immigration for the People’ service from the Depok Immigration Office at the Depok Open Space (DOS) area, with limited quotas and providing electronic passport creation or replacement services through registration on the M-Passport application.

To support smooth traffic flow during the CFD, the Depok City Transportation Department will continue to implement traffic management measures. Motorcycle riders will be directed via Jalan Rawageni and Jalan Dipo, while four-wheeled vehicles will be diverted via Jalan Siliwangi or the Grand Depok City area towards the toll road access.
