Influencer Jule to Undergo Rehabilitation Following Etomidate Vape Discovery

Social media influencer Julia Prastini, popularly known as Jule, will undergo rehabilitation following her arrest by police after the discovery of etomidate-containing vapes in her apartment.

“Regarding JP [Julia Prastini], based on the evidence, there was only one device containing vape and three disposables, and based on interrogation and further investigation, we are applying restorative justice for her status with the police,” stated the Head of Narcotics at Polresta Bandara Soekarno-Hatta, AKP Michael Tanjaya.

According to the officer, Jule’s status as a victim was determined based on the finding of only four vape cartridges containing etomidate. “JP is a user and will subsequently be assessed and then rehabilitated,” he continued.

Jule was arrested at an apartment located in Cilandak, South Jakarta, on Monday (14/9). During a search of her apartment, police discovered four vape cartridges containing etomidate.

“Three of them were empty, used, and one was still full, containing the etomidate substance,” said Michael.

The enforcement action against Jule resulted from the development of the arrest of two women suspected of selling etomidate vapes to Jule. Based on the interrogation of the two women, police discovered communications suggesting the involvement of a larger drug supplier. At that time, police also found evidence of orders placed by Jule.

“At that time, the artist JP happened to be placing an order. So, we went to (JP’s) apartment and found etomidate vapes,” Michael explained.

Based on the investigation results, Jule admitted to using vapes containing etomidate for approximately 2-3 weeks, citing personal reasons such as stress as her motivation.
