Infinix Hot 70 Officially Launched in Indonesia, Starting from Rp 2 Million
Infinix has launched the Infinix Hot 70 smartphone in Indonesia on Sunday, 24 May 2026. Starting at Rp 2 million, this device boasts a massive 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Infinix Hot 70 also supports 10W reverse charging, allowing it to function as a power bank for other devices. Besides the battery, the Hot 70 features a 120Hz refresh rate display, which is high for its class. Typically, entry-level smartphones have standard refresh rates of 60Hz or slightly higher at 90Hz. Theoretically, higher refresh rates deliver a more optimal visual experience, such as smoother scrolling and reduced lag, though this is also influenced by panel and chipset choices. Other specifications include dimensions of 167.92mm x 79.12mm x 7.49mm and a weight of 195 grams, with a Dynamic Shine Design body. The rear camera module is an elongated oval housing a 50MP main camera (f/1.85) with autofocus, and a secondary camera whose specifications are not disclosed. A flash is positioned below the sensors for improved lighting during photography, while the front-facing selfie camera is 8MP (f/2.0). The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset, featuring eight cores (2x2.2GHz Cortex-A76 and 6x2.0GHz Cortex-A55) and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is paired with LPDDR4X RAM in 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB options, and UFS2.2 storage with 128GB or 256GB variants, expandable up to 2TB via microSD. A dedicated orange-coloured AI button on the side activates the Folax AI virtual assistant. The smartphone runs Android 16 with XOS 16, and Infinix promises five years of Android software updates and three XOS upgrades. The Infinix Hot 70 is certified with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. It supports dual SIM and USB Type-C charging. The device will be available from 25 May 2026 at official retail partners and online marketplaces.
