InfiMotion Technology Makes Public Debut, Showcases Complete E-Drive Capabilities in Wuxi
InfiMotion Technology, an innovator in smart electric drive (e-drive) systems for the global market, held its first public showcase in Wuxi, unveiling its full capabilities from research and development to high-precision manufacturing. The event highlighted the company’s transition into a major independent supplier for the global automotive industry.

The company operates a global R&D network across Wuxi, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hangzhou, and Gothenburg, supported by over 1,000 engineers, including more than 100 in Sweden. Teams collaborate in real-time via a cloud-based platform. Product development is grounded in real-world extreme-condition testing, from endurance trials on Germany’s Autobahn and cold-start tests in the Nordic region to full-load operations in the tropical climates of Southeast Asia.
InfiMotion has achieved several industry firsts. In 2021, it developed China’s first independently designed 400V SiC EDU for the ZEEKR 001. In 2024, it launched the world’s first 11-in-1 domain-controlled EDU with over 90 percent CLTC efficiency on a 400V IGBT platform. In 2025, it introduced the world’s first mass-produced dual-motor EDU made from magnesium-aluminium alloy and the first 900V coaxial EDU using magnesium alloy, a system that delivers 5,200 Nm of peak torque while weighing just 77 kilograms. The company has also pioneered technologies such as Umini-pin winding, 0.2 mm ultra-thin silicon steel lamination, and embedded PCM, and is leading the development of industry standards for amorphous alloy materials.
The company’s development processes meet ASPICE Level 3 and ASIL-D safety certification standards. Products are tested across a temperature range of -60°C to 140°C, undergo 1,500-hour salt-spray tests, and complete 2,500-hour comprehensive durability tests. To meet the requirements of a premium European carmaker, InfiMotion conducted over 9,000 different tests. Its testing centre is CNAS-accredited and includes the world’s first 30,000 rpm motor testing facility.
InfiMotion operates five smart manufacturing facilities in Wuxi, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Quzhou, and Jiaxing, with motor production line automation reaching 95 percent. Surface-mount technology processes achieve an accuracy of ±25 microns, supported by measuring instruments with 0.1-micron resolution and AI-powered visual inspection systems capable of detecting defects as small as 20 microns.
The company currently supplies 400V to 900V e-drive systems for vehicles ranging from A0-class models to supercars, with business networks spanning China, Europe, and Malaysia. By the first half of 2026, InfiMotion ranked among the top three e-drive motor and inverter suppliers in China by shipment volume, with its products already in mass production for Geely, Volvo, and JLR.
