Infantry Colonel Didin Nasrudin Darsono took centre stage at the 2026 Pancasila Day ceremony held at the Pancasila Building courtyard of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jakarta on Monday, June 1. Serving as the Ceremony Commander, he delivered an exceptional performance in the presence of President Prabowo Subianto, who acted as the Reviewing Officer.
A notable moment occurred shortly after the ceremony concluded. Following Didin’s closing report, President Prabowo publicly praised the smooth execution of the event and specifically requested Didin to approach him. “Thank you for the well-conducted ceremony. Ceremony commander, please come forward—thank you,” President Prabowo Subianto stated at the venue.
According to his profile, Infantry Colonel Didin Nasrudin Darsono is a mid-level Indonesian Army officer born in Sidoarjo, East Java, on July 5, 1979. He graduated from the Military Academy (Akmil) in 2001.
Prior to being entrusted with the national duty of Ceremony Commander for Pancasila Day, Didin held strategic territorial positions. He currently serves as the Territorial Section Chief (Kasiter) of Korem 163/Wirasatya, headquartered in Bali.

This year’s Pancasila Day commemoration bears the theme “Pancasila: Unifier of the Nation, Foundation of World Peace.” The ceremony proceeded solemnly, commencing with the national anthem “Indonesia Raya” and a moment of silence.
Several senior government officials participated in the ceremony. MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani read the Pancasila text, while DPD Chairman Sultan Bahtiar Najamuddin recited the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution.
In his address, President Prabowo emphasised the importance of national transformation rooted in Pancasila’s values. He also highlighted the courage required to make correct decisions for the nation’s benefit, even when such decisions are difficult.
