JAKARTA – As it enters the first half of 2026, digital infrastructure and connectivity issuer PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk (INET) is optimistic about the prospects of the national digital infrastructure industry, driven by rising connectivity demands and accelerated digital transformation across sectors.

Fueled by surging data traffic, accelerated cross-sector digital transformation, and adoption of advanced technologies such as Wi-Fi 7, 5G, cloud computing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), the connectivity provider is poised to expand by strengthening its position within Indonesia’s digital ecosystem.

INET’s President Director, Muhammad Arif, stated that successfully navigating 2025 with a focus on strategic consolidation post-initial public offering (IPO) has positioned the company strongly.

“We view 2025 not merely as a year of growth, but as a momentum to strengthen operational foundations and governance. Strengthening domestic networks and completing the Jabodetabek ring network has become key for INET to respond to market opportunities more swiftly, reliably, and efficiently,” said Muhammad Arif in a statement on Friday, 29 May 2026.

Through its subsidiary PT Pusat Fiber Indonesia (PFI), INET has entered a strategic partnership with PT Jejaring Mitra Persada (JMP) to develop a Submarine Cable Communication System (SKKL) connecting Jakarta, Batam, and Singapore.

Under an Indefeasible Right of Use (IRU) agreement, PFI has secured rights to use the Rising-8 submarine cable infrastructure, specifically the segment from Tanjung Pinggir (Batam) to Tanah Merah (Singapore).

This move bolsters INET’s flagship services, including International IP Transit and IPLC (International Private Leased Circuit), which provide stable, secure, high-capacity global connectivity routes; as well as Exchange Content (Peering and Content Delivery), offering low-latency distribution of local and international content to enhance user experience.
