Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita has ensured that public services within the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) continue to run optimally despite the government implementing flexible work patterns such as work from home (WFH). “Public services must still proceed,” said the Minister when met in Jakarta on Friday. Agus emphasised that the policy is part of the government’s decision that must be implemented by all ministries. In line with this, the Secretary General of Kemenperin, Eko S.A. Cahyanto, in his confirmed statement, affirmed that they are committed to maintaining the quality of services to the public and industrial business actors amid the flexible work patterns for civil servants (ASN). Furthermore, he conveyed that the Minister has instructed all work units to continue operating in accordance with the applicable Service Standards and Service Circulars. Thus, stakeholders in the industrial sector will still receive quality services without technical or administrative obstacles. This work pattern transformation is also, he said, supported by strengthening data-based performance monitoring and evaluation systems periodically to ensure transparency and accountability of performance achievements.
