Industry Collaboration Strengthens Data Security and PDP Law Compliance
HYPERNET Technologies, in collaboration with Defend IT360 and IDXSTI, organised a Meet Eat Inspire event at the Ballroom of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in Jakarta. The event focused on the theme “Managing Compliance & Protecting Business: Strengthening Strategies and Risk Management of the PDP Law”.
The event brought together various stakeholders from the technology, finance, and government sectors to discuss the importance of data security and compliance with Law No 27/2022 on Personal Data Protection (PDP Law) amid rapid digital transformation.
The event was opened with remarks from Syafruddin, President Director of IDXSTI, and Sudino Oei, CTO of HYPERNET Technologies and CEO of Defend IT360.
“Data security and compliance with regulations such as the PDP Law are not only legal obligations but also important foundations for building trust in the digital ecosystem,” said Sudino.
The event continued with presentation sessions from Rungga Reksya (VP of Technology, Defend IT360), David Ciptadi (Head of IT, IDXSTI), and Yhonatan Peranto (Sales Engineer, Forcepoint), who discussed technology solutions and strategies for strengthening data security within organisations.
Beyond the technology sector, the event also featured a sharing session from Dr Sulistyo, Deputy for Cybersecurity and Cryptography at the National Cyber and Cryptography Agency (BSSN), on national cybersecurity. Prof Dr R Narendra Jatna, Attorney General’s Deputy for Civil and State Administration, also provided legal perspectives on compliance and data protection in business activities.
Through the Meet Eat Inspire forum, HYPERNET Technologies hopes to strengthen collaboration between industry and government in addressing cybersecurity challenges whilst promoting the creation of a safer and more trustworthy digital ecosystem in Indonesia.
