Industrial Modernisation Key to Siemens Indonesia Growth

Jakarta – Industrial modernisation through automation and digitalisation has become the key growth driver for PT Siemens Indonesia over the past two years, even as global geopolitical and geoeconomic pressures have intensified.

This strategy has propelled Surya Fitri, President Director and CEO of PT Siemens Indonesia, to receive the Indonesia Best CEO 2025 award from SWA Magazine and Dunamis Organization Services on 26 February 2026 in Jakarta. He was selected as one of five outstanding leaders from a total of 18 leaders in the Best CEO in Leading Company category.

“I feel greatly honoured and grateful for this recognition,” said Surya Fitri in a statement released on Sunday (1 March 2026). “This award is not just for me, but for the entire Siemens Indonesia team that works with high dedication.”

Under Surya Fitri’s leadership, Siemens Indonesia has recorded double-digit growth in sales and profitability for two consecutive years. This performance has been achieved amidst geopolitical uncertainty, geoeconomic pressures, shifts in global energy policy, and increasing sustainability demands from customers.

Surya emphasised that the company consistently prioritises continuous innovation and close collaboration with various industry stakeholders. “Amid industry dynamics, we consistently prioritise continuous innovation, resource development, and close collaboration,” he said. “We believe Siemens technology makes real impact, from campuses producing talented individuals, factories operating more efficiently, to electrical grids illuminating the nation,” Surya added.

Furthermore, the company is strengthening digital talent through collaboration with Indonesian universities and accelerating industrial modernisation through automation and digitalisation. This step reinforces Siemens Indonesia’s position as a technology partner in the transformation of Indonesia’s industrial and infrastructure sectors.
