The Indramayu District Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari Indramayu) has carried out the destruction of evidence from various criminal cases. This activity is part of the implementation of court decisions for 173 cases that have been fully adjudicated.

The Head of the Indramayu District Prosecutor’s Office, Niko, stated that the destruction was conducted on all evidence from cases that have acquired final legal force (inkrah) from September 2025 to January 2026. According to him, the destroyed evidence originates from various types of criminal offences, including narcotics, health-related crimes, child protection, sexual violence crimes (TPKS), theft, murder, fraud, counterfeit money, and possession of sharp weapons.

The destroyed evidence includes narcotics such as 310.93 grams of sabu (methamphetamine), 2,042.16 grams of ganja (cannabis), and 3,087 grams of synthetic tobacco. Additionally, there are 74,157 pills of various types of medications, both psychotropics and legal drugs that were illegally distributed.

“For these medications, some are indeed legal, but they were distributed not in accordance with regulations, such as without a doctor’s prescription and misused not for treatment. This is currently a trend,” explained Niko, during the destruction of evidence at the yard of the State Seized Goods Storage House Office (Rupbasan) of the Indramayu Prosecutor’s Office, on Thursday (23/4/2026).
