Indramayu Car Free Night Route Extended: Here is the List of Locations
The Car Free Night (CFN) activity, routinely held every weekend in the Alun-alun area of Indramayu Regency, West Java, will undergo a route change. Previously, the CFN UMKM started at kilometre zero on Jalan S Parman or in front of the gate of the Grand Mosque of Indramayu up to Jalan R.A. Kartini. Now, the starting point of CFN has changed to in front of the Indramayu Regency Communication and Informatics Office (Diskominfo) up to Jl Ahmad Yani and finally at the Waiki traffic light.
Acting Secretary of Indramayu Regency, Ahmad Syadali, said the change will be implemented starting Friday, 8 May 2026. The implementation time remains unchanged, still starting at 6:00 PM WIB until 10:00 PM WIB.
“This route adjustment is carried out as part of area management to make it more orderly, safe, and support the comfort of the community engaging in activities in the CFN area,” he said on Saturday (9/5/2026).
Syadali admitted that the idea for expanding CFN originated from Indramayu Regent Lucky Hakim. “At that time, the Regent wanted the UMKM players in Indramayu Regency to grow, needing a place to sell their products. Well, in this CFN area, they are allowed to sell their products,” he said.
Meanwhile, Acting Head of the Cooperative, UMKM, Trade, and Industry Office (Diskopdagin) of Indramayu Regency, Mardono, said that preparations are underway for relocating the micro, small, and medium enterprise (UMKM) actors who previously sold in front of the Indramayu Town Square. “Later, there will be no more traders selling on Jalan S Parman or in front of the Alun-alun Indramayu,” he said.

The Indramayu Regency Government urges the public to adjust their travel routes during the event and to utilise the provided parking areas. It is hoped that the CFN and Car Free Day activities can continue to serve as safe, comfortable public spaces that benefit the community and local business actors.
