Indra Kenz has reportedly been granted parole from the Class II A Cibinong Correctional Institution. This release has drawn a response from the victims of the Binomo trading robot investment scam.

According to reports, the legal counsel for the victims hopes that the convict will not repeat actions that cause harm to others. “Regarding the certainty of whether Indra Kenz has indeed been granted parole, we, as the victims’ legal counsel, do not know for sure. Even if it is true that he has been released on parole, we hope that the events of the past do not recur,” stated the victims’ lawyer, Irsan Gusfrianto, on Saturday (26/09/2025).

Regarding compensation for the victims, Irsan mentioned that some restitution has been made from seized assets belonging to Indra Kenz. However, he noted that the distribution process remains problematic within the management of the Indonesian United Traders Association (PTIB) and is currently being reported to the Criminal Investigation Division (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police.

“Regarding the victims’ losses, funds have been distributed from Indra Kenz’s seized assets. However, there are still ongoing issues regarding the distribution carried out by the association,” explained Irsan.

“This matter has been reported to Bareskrim Polri under Police Report Number: STTL/184/IV/2025/Bareskrim, dated 22 April 2025,” he added.

Information regarding Indra Kenz’s release first surfaced via a social media post by Paris Pernandez. In the video, Paris is seen embracing Indra Kenz and mentioning that Indra has been staying at her house following his release from prison.

Previously, victims of the Binomo trading robot investment reported allegations of embezzlement and money laundering related to the proceeds from the sale of seized assets belonging to the convict, Indra Kenz. This report has been registered with Bareskrim Polri under number LP/B/184/IV/2025/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI, dated 22 April 2025.

“There are approximately five reported parties, and this number could increase depending on the development of the case,” said the victims’ lawyer, Irsan Gusfrianto, on Saturday (17/05/2025).

The five reported parties include MN, MR, and RXS as officials of the Indonesian United Traders Association (PTIB), IP as a member of PTIB, and NZ, who acted as a lawyer. Irsan explained that this association is a group comprising victims of Indra Kenz.

The report was filed by a representative of the victims, identified by the initials VS, representing nine other victims.

“The PTIB association sold Indra Kenz’s seized assets after they were handed over by the South Tangerang Public Prosecutor,” said Irsan.

Irsan suspects that the reported parties have committed embezzlement and money laundering regarding the seized house of Indra Kenz, with total losses reaching Rp 30 billion. One of the methods used was deducting Rp 4 billion from the victims’ compensation as a ‘success fee’ for a lawyer, without ever receiving power of attorney or approval from the victims.

“The modus operandi of the reported parties involves deducting Rp 4 billion from the victims’ funds for a success fee for a lawyer they appointed, even though that lawyer was never granted a power of attorney by the victims,” he explained.

According to Irsan, two of Indra Kenz’s houses in Medan, located on Jalan Seroja and Jalan Bilal, were sold by the reported parties for Rp 5.5 billion. In reality, the house on Jalan Seroja is estimated to be worth up to Rp 30 billion, while the house on Jalan Bilal is estimated at Rp 1.7 billion.

“The reported parties forced the sale of Indra Kenz’s seized houses despite the fact that the majority of victims rejected the sale,” he said.

From the proceeds of the sale of these two houses, a sum of Rp 5.5 billion was distributed among 144 victims, with a total distribution value of only Rp 402 million.

The report has been transferred from the National Police Headquarters to the Special Criminal Division of the Metro Jaya Regional Police. The victims hope the case will be followed up promptly.

“The victims hope that the Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief will process this case swiftly, as was done with the previous Indra Kenz case, and promptly name suspects,” concluded Irsan.

It should be noted that parole does not mean Indra Kenz is fully free. During the parole period, Indra Kenz remains under guidance and supervision and is required to comply with all applicable regulations. Under this parole, Indra Kenz is obligated to report to the Correctional Center (Bapas). Furthermore, during his parole, Indra Kenz must not be involved in any criminal activities; if he is involved in another criminal case, his parole will be revoked.
