Indra Kesuma, alias Indra Kenz, has reportedly been granted conditional release in relation to the fraudulent investment case involving the Binomo platform. The victims’ representatives have raised concerns regarding the distribution of compensation in the matter.

Victims’ lawyer, Irsan Gusfrianto, expressed hope that Indra Kenz would not repeat his actions which caused widespread financial loss. “Regarding the certainty of whether Indra Kenz has indeed been granted conditional release, we, as the victims’ legal counsel, do not know for certain yet. Even if it is true that he has been released on condition, we hope that the events of the past do not recur,” Irsan stated when contacted on Saturday, 26 September 2026.

Irsan mentioned that the compensation for the victims has actually been allocated from the assets seized in the Indra Kenz case. However, he noted that there are still ongoing issues within the victims’ association.

“However, there are still problems as of now regarding the distribution being carried out by the association,” he said.

Furthermore, Irsan stated that regarding the issues surrounding the victims’ compensation, his party has reported the matter to the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police.

“The matter has been reported to Bareskrim Polri under Police Report Number: STTL/184/IV/2025/Bareskrim, dated 22 April 2025,” he added.

Previously, Indra Kesuma, popularly known as Indra Kenz, was reported to have been released from detention following the Binomo fraudulent investment case. News of his release emerged after his friend, Paris Pernandes, posted a touching moment of their meeting.

In a post on his personal Instagram account, @parispernandes_, Paris shared a video welcoming Indra Kenz, who also stayed at his residence after being picked up on the day of Indra’s release.

“Hello friends, so today I am happy and moved, because someone stayed at my house last night. Seriously friends, because it has been several years since I last saw this brother. Finally, we can meet again. Last night I picked him up and he stayed at my house. Moving forward, brother, we are in this together,” said Paris, as quoted on Friday, 25 September 2026.

In 2022, the panel of judges sentenced Indra Kenz to 10 years in prison and a fine of Rp5 billion for the Binomo fraudulent investment case. He was found legally and convincingly guilty of spreading false information and money laundering.
