Indovision and tuner

I recently moved from Jakarta to Bali. Prior to living in Bali, I lived in Kelapa Gading and subscribed to Indovision. Since the TV in my house was manufactured in Indonesia, it did not have a full tuner. I had to obtain a tuner from Indovision to pick up all the channels offered by their surface. Indovision charged me a deposit of Rp 350,000 for the tuner box. I was required to pay the deposit immediately upon receiving the tuner.

Later on I had to move, so I called Indovision and notified them that I was leaving. I asked them to come and pick up the tuner and refund my money. I was told that someone would come and pick up my tuner, but they could not refund my money immediately. I advised them that I had to put up the deposit immediately, and questioned why they could not also refund the deposit immediately. They did not seem to understand my concern. Finally I was given reassurance that my money would be deposited into my bank account within one week.

It has now been over three months and I still have not received my deposit refund, plus the unused portion of service which I also paid for in advance. I have called Indovision at least five times in addition to sending them over 20 faxes. Each time I have included my bank account number, plus a copy of the receipt I received in return for the tuner. Indovision has yet to refund my money and they have not given me any reason for their failure to do so.

Folks, be alerted of this sort of service!
