Indosiar to air 'Kupu Kupu Kertas'

JAKARTA (JP): Production house PT Multivision Plus will add another television series to its 800 hours of prime-time viewing slots on television.

The company's president, Raam Punjabi, said that the love and drama-packed Kupu Kupu Kertas (Paper Butterflies) series would air on Indosiar beginning Sept. 30.

Raam said the series, scheduled to run for 15 to 16 episodes, would star local actors Roy Marten, Cynthia Maramis, Angel Ibrahim and Fendy Pradana as leading characters.

The series' team includes director Nasri Cheppy, scriptwriter Jujur Prananto and music director Chossy Pratama.

Raam explained that the story revolved around a happily- married protagonist (Roy) with kids, who happened to come across his first lover (Angel), who was married to the villain (Fendy).

"It (the story) has everything in it -- love, revenge, business and tricks, a little bit of comedy, melodrama and a title song," he said. (02)
