JAKARTA (JP): An eagerness to make a notable entrance has
prompted Indosiar, the newest private television company owned
by the Salim Group, to present many attractive entertainment
programs.

Dozens of American box office motion pictures such as Kevin
Costner's No Way Out, Arnold Schwarzeneger's Total Recall, Mel
Gibson's Air America and Kim Basinger's My Step Mother Is An
Alien are ready to appear on TV sets throughout Indonesia.

The station is also ready with American mini series, like
Jackie Collin's Lady Boss , Nicole Kidman's Bangkok Hilton and
action series such as NYPD Blues and Tokyo Love Story.

For comedy programs, Indosiar will present favorite American
sitcoms like Seinfeld, Blossom and Married with Children, while

For people who want to have an up-to-date perspective Indosiar
presents 60 Minutes, a weekly show which reports many varied
stories, including profiles on top people, in-depth reports on art,
business, and religion.

60 Minutes is the most watched program in the U.S and has reached
top rating for the last 20 years. The program is hosted by famous
journalists Mike Wallace, Morley Safer, Ed Bradley, Andy Rooney,
Harry Reasoner and Diane Sawyer.

For sports lovers, Indosiar will present World Championship
Professional Wrestling and MTV Sports, a sports program which is
