Indosepamas' profit soars

JAKARTA (JP): PT Indosepamas Anggun, a manufacturing company,
announced yesterday a sharp increase in its after-tax profit to
Rp 9.03 billion, or Rp 249 per share, during the first quarter of
this year from Rp 2.71 billion, or Rp 112 per share, for the same
period in 1994.

A statement yesterday, from the company's president,
Franciscus Welirang, read that the company's consolidated sales
in the January-March period surged to Rp 179.86 billion from Rp
28.87 billion in the same period of 1994.

The company's total assets increased to Rp 617 billion as of
March, from Rp 127 billion as of the same month in 1994.(31)
