Indorayon wins award

JAKARTA (JP): Publicly listed PT Inti Indorayon Utama has won a national award for promoting the role its female workers.

Company director P. Daritan said over the weekend the award was presented by President Soeharto at Mothers Day celebrations in Karanganyar, Central Java, last week.

The North Sumatra-based company is a major producer of pulp and paper. Around 25 percent of its workers are women. (04)
