Indorama's profit up 23.5%

JAKARTA (JP): PT Indorama Synthetics, a textile maker listed
on the Jakarta Stock Exchange, recorded in its statement a 23.5
percent increase in its net profit to Rp 62.2 billion (US$27.9
million) in 1994 over the previous year.

The statement, made available to the press yesterday, also
stated that the firm's sale revenues in 1994 rose 26.5 percent to
Rp 381,5 billion.

It said that the company's shareholder meeting, held at its
industrial complex in Purwakarta, West Java, approved a 1994
dividend of Rp 140 per share, which indicated a 10 percent
increase from 1993. (hdj)
