Indonesia's Sixth Vice President Try Sutrisno Passes Away

Jakarta — Indonesia’s sixth Vice President Try Sutrisno passed away at Gatot Soebroto Central Military Hospital (RSPAD) in Jakarta on Monday, 2 March 2026.

The news was confirmed by the former head of RSPAD, Lieutenant General (Retired) Albertus Budi Sulistya.

“Confirmed,” Albertus told Kompas.com on Monday.

According to information received, Try Sutrisno passed away at RSPAD at 06.58 Western Indonesian Time.

According to plan, the body will be washed at the RSPAD funeral house and transferred to a funeral home at Purwakarta Street Number 6, Menteng, Central Jakarta, for viewing.
