President Prabowo acknowledged that implementing the plan would not be easy, noting that various challenges and obstacles are likely to arise throughout the process.

"From the first day we studied President Trump's 20-point plan, we completely agreed and are fully committed to it. That is why we joined the Board of Peace," he said in a video shared on the White House YouTube channel.

Despite this, he expressed optimism that the vision for peace could be realised.

"We know there will be many obstacles and difficulties. But we are very optimistic that under President Trump's leadership, this vision of real peace will be achieved. There will be problems, but we will prevail," he said.

The president added that Indonesia places great hope in the realisation of peace in Palestine, including Gaza, citing the ceasefire as a significant step forward.

As a concrete commitment, President Prabowo reaffirmed Indonesia's readiness to contribute up to 8,000 peacekeepers to support international stabilisation efforts.

Prabowo attended the high-level meeting at the invitation of President Trump, who initiated the Board of Peace and formally opened the summit.

He was joined by leaders from several other member countries, including Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Egypt, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Paraguay, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

The meeting included speeches by key board figures, an intervention session during which member state leaders delivered their statements, as well as a vote and the adoption of a resolution.
