The Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenpora RI) has entered the list of the top five out of ten ministries with the best performance. This achievement is based on the results of a survey by Cyrus Network, alongside the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, State Secretariat, and Ministry of Agriculture.

Cyrus Network released a national public opinion survey report for the April 2026 period. One of the topics raised concerns the level of public satisfaction with ministers to the popularity of ministries/institutions.

The survey involved 1,260 respondents interviewed face-to-face in 126 villages/sub-districts across 38 provinces in Indonesia from 1 to 5 April 2026.

This achievement serves as a form of public appreciation for the various programmes and policies implemented by Kemenpora in supporting the empowerment of youth potential and enhancing national sports achievements.

The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, Erick Thohir, stated that the survey results serve as motivation for the entire Kemenpora apparatus to continue improving the quality of public services. This achievement also strengthens strategic programmes that impact society and the nation’s achievements in the eyes of the world.

“Alhamdulillah, Kemenpora has received good news that our performance has received recognition and is truly felt by the community. This achievement is the result of hard work together by all Kemenpora personnel as well as the support of stakeholders and the public,” said Erick in a written statement on Wednesday (15/4/2026).

Under Erick’s leadership, Kemenpora continues to drive internal transformation to produce governance improvements. In addition, Erick is also promoting policies that yield performance improvements, sports industry development, and sport tourism, as well as strengthening youth contributions to the nation.

Furthermore, Kemenpora is strengthening collaboration with various stakeholders, both at the national and international levels, to create an inclusive and sustainable ecosystem.

“We are committed to continuing to deliver policies that have a real impact on Indonesian youth and sports, thereby positioning Indonesia as a nation that excels in the eyes of the world and has a young generation that is patriotic, resilient, and empathetic, serving as Indonesia’s strength in the future to compete globally,” he added.
