Indonesia's investment realisation in the first quarter of 2025 reached Rp465.2 trillion, according to Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani.

Speaking at a press conference at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, 23 April 2025, Rosan said the figure represented 24.4 per cent of the full-year target of Rp1,905.6 trillion.

"The first quarter investment is in line with the target set by Bappenas for us. Of the total 2025 investment target of Rp1,905.6 trillion, the investment that has been received, realised and disbursed in the first quarter stands at Rp465.2 trillion, or approximately 24.4 per cent," Rosan said.

He provided a breakdown of the investment realisation for the period: foreign direct investment (PMA) accounted for Rp230.4 trillion, or 49.5 per cent of the total, whilst domestic investment (PMDN) contributed Rp234.8 trillion, or 50.5 per cent.

The BKPM chief noted that the first three months of 2025 showed an increase of approximately 15.9 per cent year-on-year compared with the same period last year, which recorded Rp401.5 trillion. On a quarterly basis, investment rose 2.7 per cent from the previous quarter's realisation of Rp452.8 trillion.
