Indonesia's Investment Realisation Reaches Rp 475 Trillion in Second Quarter of 2025
The Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM reported that Indonesia's investment realisation up to the second quarter of 2025 reached Rp 475 trillion. This figure continues the positive trend from the first quarter, which reached Rp 465 trillion.
Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Todotua Pasaribu stated that this achievement demonstrates solid investment performance through the first semester of the year, with an annual investment target of Rp 1,900 trillion.
The government is targeting 8 per cent economic growth, with investment serving as the key to achieving it. Investment projections over the next five years are targeted to reach Rp 13,000 trillion.
Nevertheless, Pasaribu acknowledged the challenges in meeting investment targets in the third and fourth quarters, given the dynamic global economic conditions. The government will continue to monitor and strive to absorb investment optimally in order to drive economic growth.
