Indonesia's Beauty Industry Offers Promising Business and Investment Prospects
JAKARTA - The national beauty industry still holds promising business and investment opportunities amid increasing demand for personal care and cosmetic products.
This has prompted Krista Exhibitions Group to once again hold IndoBeauty Expo 2026 as a platform to bring together producers, distributors, investors and business players to expand markets and build business partnerships.
The exhibition, held from 5 to 7 August 2026, is one of the largest business events in the beauty sector. A total of 65 companies from more than eight countries participated, namely Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia and China.
Krista Exhibitions Group CEO Daud D. Salim said the 16th edition of IndoBeauty Expo is a momentum to strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesia’s beauty industry while opening up opportunities for investment and cross-border collaboration.
“Through this exhibition, we want to create more partnership opportunities, expand business networks, and strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesia’s beauty industry so that it is better prepared to compete in the global market,” Daud said at the exhibition opening on Wednesday (5/8).
The exhibition, he explained, is not only a means of product promotion, but also a space for collaboration, knowledge exchange and development of the national beauty industry.
“We are optimistic that IndoBeauty Expo 2026 will provide added value for all industry players and encourage the creation of a beauty ecosystem that is more innovative, sustainable and internationally competitive,” Daud said.
One of the main agendas at IndoBeauty Expo 2026 is Business Matching, held every day during the exhibition.
The programme is facilitated by Krista Exhibitions Group in cooperation with the Indonesian Retail Entrepreneurs Association (Aprindo) to connect exhibition participants with distributors, retailers and prospective business partners.
Through this forum, industry players are expected to expand business networks, explore investment opportunities and accelerate market penetration for local and international beauty products.
In addition to bringing together business players, the exhibition also features various seminars, workshops and discussions on beauty industry developments, product innovation, human resource quality improvement and strategies for facing global competition.
