During a meeting in Jakarta with Palestinian Ambassador Abdalfatah A.K. Alsattari, Baznas Head Noor Achmad reaffirmed Indonesia’s unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause, describing the support as a permanent humanitarian mandate.

“Our commitment to helping Palestine will not waver, and we will continue to strive for steadfast support. Each package of aid delivered to Palestinians reflects our genuine sincerity,” he remarked.

Achmad emphasized that closer coordination with the Palestinian Embassy is essential for navigating Israeli blockades and ensuring that relief reaches those in need.

“We will continue to distribute aid,” he affirmed, noting Indonesians’ empathy with those suffering from the war in Palestine.

Beyond immediate physical aid, he also proposed expanding educational opportunities for Palestinian students in Indonesia to help them overcome bureaucratic hurdles.

Ambassador Alsattari highlighted the gravity of the crisis, noting that roughly 40 percent of survivors in the enclave have lost limbs, with women and children making up the majority of victims.

He conveyed deep gratitude from the Palestinian president to the Indonesian people for their steadfast solidarity.

“Indonesia has been standing strong by our side,” Alsattari remarked.
