Indonesia’s energy and environmental startup ecosystem has gained global attention. At the MAJU:ON Final Demo Day held at Garuda Spark Innovation Hub in Jakarta on 21 May 2026, ten top startups from the MAJU:ON programme officially entered a new phase towards global investment markets.

Initiated by SK Innovation E&S and UD Impact, the programme is designed as a strategic bridge for young Indonesian entrepreneurs to access funding, global networks, and cross-border business expansion opportunities. The event attracted over 200 attendees, including representatives from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, KOMDIGI, and the Korean Embassy in Indonesia.

A key attraction of the Demo Day was the mock investment session, where attendees and investors allocated virtual funds to the most promising startups. The simulation results, combined with expert jury assessments, determined the winners.

GISACT secured first place with its geospatial data-based spatial information analysis platform. The technology is highly differentiated, applicable across critical sectors from disaster mitigation to agricultural optimisation.

The following is a list of winning startups and innovations that captured investor attention:

Support for winners does not end with cash prizes. Selected startups can access funding through a joint fund established by UD Impact and ANGIN (Angel Investment Network Indonesia), offering interest-free loans of up to 20 million KRW (converted to Indonesian rupiah based on current exchange rates) to support commercialisation.

Additionally, winners are scheduled to attend an Indonesia-Korea conference this September to collaborate with South Korean young entrepreneurs. This move reinforces MAJU:ON’s role as a structured investment pipeline guiding startups from ideation incubation to global business validation.

“Through MAJU:ON, I have witnessed the boundless potential of Indonesia’s young entrepreneurs. We hope this programme serves as a bridge connecting Indonesia and Korea’s industrial ecosystems,” said Shon Dong-Kun, Head of SK Innovation E&S Indonesia.

Over its 10-month run, MAJU:ON has gathered 130 teams comprising over 460 young entrepreneurs. With the success of the first round, SK Innovation E&S is committed to continuing the programme in subsequent rounds to strengthen Indonesia’s green economy ecosystem.
