Indonesian-U.S. business meet
JAKARTA (JP): The United States Committee of the Indonesian
Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) met here on Wednesday
with two leaders of the American Chamber of Commerce discussing
cooperation in the development of small and medium-scale
enterprises and agribusiness.
The meeting, presided over by the committee's chairman, Tony
Agus Ardie, was attended by Kadin members and Josh Edward
Knights, director for Asia trade policy, and Myron Brilliant,
manager of Asia International policy of AmCham.
Tony briefed the American business leaders on the important
role of small and medium-scale businesses in Indonesia's economy
and the prospects of agribusiness, especially amid the depressed
economic condition and financial meltdown.
