Indonesian Tourists Gain More Destination Options via Vietnam
Indonesian tourists now have an increasing number of international destination options accessible through Vietnam. In addition to exploring various tourist cities within the country, passengers from Jakarta and Bali can now continue their journeys to Central Asia and Europe through an expanding flight network, providing more alternatives for both leisure and business travel.
One of the airlines expanding this connectivity is Vietjet. Through flights from Jakarta and Bali, passengers can transit via Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City before continuing to Almaty, Kazakhstan, or Prague, Czech Republic, which are two of the airline’s newest international destinations.
Beyond expanding international access, Vietjet is also increasing flight frequencies on several key domestic routes in Vietnam, connecting Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hai Phong with Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, and Hue. The airline has also resumed operations on the route to Da Lat, a popular mountainous destination in Vietnam. To support the growing interest in travel, Vietjet is introducing a ‘7.7 Twin Date’ promotion running from 7–9 July 2026. During this period, the airline is offering Eco class tickets starting from Rp0 (excluding taxes) for all its routes.
