Indonesian Technology Company Appointed to Provide Digital Solutions for 80,000 Village Cooperatives

Jakarta — PT Global Sukses Solusi Tbk (RUNS), a technology company, has been officially appointed by the Ministry of Cooperatives as the technology provider to support the operations of 80,000 Red-White Village and Sub-district Cooperatives (Kopdes Merah Putih) through its Accounting+ product.

The company’s participation in the Kopdes Merah Putih technology ecosystem aligns with its strategy to strengthen recurring revenue, which is a key focus for 2026.

The appointment, referenced in the Ministry of Cooperatives notification letter Number B-89/D.1.KOP/PK.00.00/2026 dated 5 March 2026, forms part of the government’s efforts to accelerate the implementation of the Red-White Cooperatives programme whilst strengthening governance and transparency through the implementation and integration of digital technology.

The Kopdes Merah Putih programme is a strategic national initiative by President Prabowo Subianto to strengthen rural economies through the development of modern, professional, transparent, and digitally integrated cooperatives. The government is targeting the establishment of 80,000 new cooperatives across villages and sub-districts throughout Indonesia as engines of local economic growth.

The Kopdes Merah Putih programme is supported by the regulatory framework set out in Ministry of Cooperatives Regulation Number 2 of 2024 concerning Cooperative Development and Strengthening, which emphasises the importance of transparent, accountable, digitalised, and nationally managed cooperative governance.
