Indonesian products to enter PRJ

JAKARTA: An exhibition of Indonesian products will be held at
the Jakarta Fairground, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, from Friday
Aug. 12 to Sunday Aug. 21, in commemoration of the 60th
anniversary of the declaration of independence, which will fall
on Aug. 17.

At least 1,000 participants will display various agricultural
forestry, mining and health products as well as technological
innovations, the event committee chairwoman Siti Hartati Murdaya
said on Monday.

Besides the country's products, she added, a display of
military weapons and planes, including the F-16 fighting jets and
model airplane attractions, will highlight the event.

Vice President Jusuf Kalla is expected to open the exhibition.

With tickets at Rp 5,000 per person, visitors can enjoy the
exhibition from 3 p.m. through 10 p.m. on weekdays and from 10
a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Two shuttle buses to the venue will be provided on Jl.
Angkasa. -- Antara
