Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will visit Saudi
Arabia soon to meet the country's new leader King Abdullah,
presidential spokesman Andi Mallarangeng said on Tuesday.

"President Susilo just wants to get to know King Abdullah in
person, since both are leaders of two prominent predominantly
Muslim nations. Therefore, we want to improve the existing close
relations with Saudi Arabia," he said.

Andi, however, refused to disclose the exact date of the
visit.

Aside from visiting Saudi Arabia, Susilo is also scheduled to
visit the Palestinian territory. -- JP
