Jakarta — The Indonesian Navy through the Fleet Command (Koarmada) distributed 1,500 packages of basic necessities to military personnel and civil servants within its command to support food provision during Ramadhan.

Fleet Command Chief Admiral Denih Hendrata stated that the assistance was provided to naval personnel and civil servants within the Fleet Command.

According to a press statement received in Jakarta on Saturday, the distribution of packages containing cooking oil, rice, sugar and other foodstuffs was carried out as part of helping others during the holy month.

“We hope this brings happiness and blessings to all personnel and their families. This is because Eid al-Fitr is a moment to strengthen our sense of gratitude, togetherness, and spirit of dedication to nation and state,” said Denih.

Denih expressed hope that the moment of togetherness during the sacred month of Ramadhan would increase cohesion and working spirit across all ranks of the Fleet Command.

As such, all naval personnel within the Fleet Command will be increasingly motivated in carrying out their duties to maintain the nation’s sovereignty.

The activity is also part of cooperation with Sinar Mas Group in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
