Indonesian National Team Naturalisation Candidates Join Jakarta Training Camp

Indonesian national team concluded their selection process for the 2026 ASEAN Championship, also known as the 2026 AFF Championship, with an internal match held at the Gelora Bung Karno Secondary Stadium (GBK) in Jakarta on Saturday, 30 May 2026.

Coach John Herdman split the players into two teams, Red and White, with a total of 26 players participating.

The Red team featured players including Cahya Supriadi, Egy Maulana Vikri, Thom Haye, Alfharezzi Buffon, Arkhan Fikri, Rayhan Hannan, Wahyu Prasetyo, Brian Fatari, Rizky Eka, and Witan Sulaeman.

The White team consisted of Nadeo Argawinata, Marc Klok, Saddil Ramdani, Jens Raven, Shayne Pattynama, Yance Sayuri, Ricky Kambuaya, Hokky Caraka, Muhammad Ferarri, Eksel Runtukahu, Marselino Ferdinan, and Fajar Fathurrahman.

Muhammad Riyandi was unused on the bench.

The three players in question are Mitchell Baker, Luke Vickery, and Mathew Baker.

Mitchell Baker and Mathew Baker were in the Red team, while Luke Vickery played for the White team.

The presence of Mitchell Baker and Luke Vickery further confirms they are set to undergo naturalisation for Indonesian citizenship.

They are also being prepared to represent the national team in the near future.

“This is a great opportunity for me to see these players and understand their quality,” said the English coach to reporters after the session.

“They will also stay for the June training camp, so they will be training with the squad this week as the naturalisation process takes time,” he added.

The match ended with a 5-4 victory for the White team.
