Jakarta (ANTARA) — The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has again conducted rotations and mutations of officials at senior and middle officer ranks in February 2026, including the reassignment of former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro to become Pamen Yanma Polri.

Irjen Polisi Johnny Eddizon Isir, Head of Polri Public Relations Division, stated in Jakarta on Saturday that the mutations are outlined in a Police Chief Telegram (ST) numbered ST/440/II/KEP./2026, dated 27 February 2026.

The telegram records 54 personnel being mutated, broken down as follows: 3 personnel in the evaluation/demotion category, 44 personnel in promotion or equivalent lateral transfers, and 7 personnel entering retirement.

Regarding the evaluation/demotion category, three officials have experienced position changes. First, Kombes Polisi Edy SE Wibowo, who previously served as head of Sleman Police Resort (Polresta) in the Yogyakarta Regional Police (Polda), has been reassigned to the Polri Legal Division. His former position is now filled by Kombes Polisi Adhitya P Anom, who previously served as Accreditor of Professional Conduct (Propam) at the Third-Level Medium Police Professional Conduct Division.

Edy was previously suspended following the controversial pickpocketing case involving Hogi Minaya that went viral, leading to the House of Representatives Commission III requesting that the Sleman Public Prosecutor’s Office discontinue the case.

Secondly, Kuncoro, who previously served as Police Chief of Bima City in the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, has been reassigned to Pamen Yanma Polri following a dishonourable discharge sanction related to a narcotics case. His position is now filled by AKBP Mubiarto B Kristanto, who previously served as head of the Traffic Unit (PJR) at the Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police.

“AKBP Didik’s mutation to Yanma is to facilitate the administrative process for implementing the decision of the Polri Code of Ethics Commission regarding his dishonourable discharge, which is currently being processed,” Johnny explained.

Thirdly, AKBP Natalena Eko Cahyono, who previously served as Police Chief of Bungo in Jambi Regional Police, has been reassigned to Pamen Polda Jambi. The position of Police Chief of Bungo is now entrusted to AKBP Zamri Elfino, who previously served as Head of Division 3 at the Directorate of Special Crime (Ditreskrimsus) of Jambi Regional Police.

Johnny stated that this mutation is part of organisational dynamics and efforts to refresh and strengthen institutional capacity. “Personnel mutation and rotation within Polri is routine as part of career development, organisational renewal, and to enhance member performance and professionalism in delivering excellent service to the community,” he said.
