Jakarta – Polri headquarters, in collaboration with Trunojoyo journalists, distributed a total of 100 assistance packages and groceries to orphans, widows, and the disadvantaged on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.

The distribution of assistance took place at Al Ikhlas Mosque in Joglo, West Jakarta. This initiative, which is conducted annually, was organised by the journalists with the support of the police force.

Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Head of Public Relations Division at Polri headquarters, described the distribution as an expression of synergy between Polri and journalists in sharing with those in need during the month of Ramadan.

“In this blessed month, Polri and Trunojoyo journalists are collaborating to share, especially with communities in need,” he said to reporters.

“We hope that the assistance provided will be a blessing and beneficial for the community as we approach Eid al-Fitr 1447 H,” he added.

On the same occasion, Mohammad Yamin, Chairman of the Al Ikhlas Mosque Management Committee, expressed his gratitude to Polri headquarters and Trunojoyo journalists.

“We are grateful for the provision of assistance and groceries to orphans, widows, and the disadvantaged. We also pray that all police personnel deployed in Operation Ketupat 2026 will carry out their duties smoothly,” he said.

Meanwhile, Yudha Marhaean, representing Trunojoyo journalists, conveyed a message urging the community in the Al Ikhlas Mosque area to maintain harmony and unity.

“We hope this brings happiness, enthusiasm, and prayers so that our children grow into a generation that is strong, virtuous, and beneficial for the nation and religion,” he explained.

In addition to cash assistance, Polri headquarters and Trunojoyo journalists also distributed a total of 100 food packages to recipients and 100 meals for breaking the fast.

The activity was part of a series of distributions involving 1,500 meals and dates distributed by Polri headquarters and Trunojoyo journalists on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
