Therefore, the state’s approach should not stop at repatriating Indonesians alone. “But it must also be accompanied by intelligence assessments, digital profiling, financial investigations, and mapping of their network relations,” he said. For information, Polri revealed that an Indonesian was among those arrested in the international online gambling network case at Hayam Wuruk Plaza Tower. This information was obtained after police examined the Indonesian in question. Wira added that police are still delving into the role of the Indonesian in the international online gambling network arrested at Hayam Wuruk Plaza Tower. “The role of the Indonesian will still be re-checked by us, but for now, he is a customer service,” he stated. Then, on Sunday, Polri announced that 320 of them are foreign nationals (WNA) and their detention has been handed over to the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Immigration of the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections (Kemenimipas). The 320 foreign nationals arrested consist of 228 Vietnamese, 57 Chinese, 13 Myanmar nationals, 11 Laotians, five Thais, three Malaysians, and three Cambodians.
