Indonesian Military Constructs Bailey Bridge in Probolinggo Following Landslide
Personnel from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) are installing the framework of a Bailey bridge in Probolinggo Regency, East Java, on Monday (13/4/2026). Members of the Combat Engineer Battalion (Yonzipur) V/Arathi Bhaya Wighina (ABW) from Malang have started erecting the Bailey bridge as a temporary access route following the disruption of the road to the Madakaripura Waterfall tourist attraction, which was cut off for approximately 20 metres due to a landslide, with a target completion time of 14 days.
