Indonesian House Member Reviews and Evaluates SPPG Performance in Bukittinggi
Staff at the local SPPG continue to enhance services and hope that Bukittinggi City can become a model area for a high-quality MBG programme. Simpang Empat (ANTARA) - Member of Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Ade Rezki Pratama, carried out an evaluation and clarification of the performance of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme at the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) in Bukittinggi City on Friday. He directly inspected the conditions of the SPPG kitchen, from the food storage room, processing area, washing area, nutrition room, to the wastewater treatment installation (IPAL) at one of the SPPGs, Campago Guguk Bulek Dua. “I conducted a visit or direct observation to one of the SPPGs in Bukittinggi City. We observed all stages of preparation to distribution in the implementation of the MBG programme. The requirements and all SOPs have been fulfilled well,” said Ade. He asked the local SPPG staff to continue improving services and hopes that Bukittinggi City can become a model area for a high-quality MBG programme. He appreciated what has been done by the SPPG, which synergises and collaborates between the Head of SPPG as an extension of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). “Hopefully in the future, this can become something good and whatever is distributed and given to the beneficiaries can be consumed well. We will also reap the results of this MBG investment in the future because this is a noble programme from President Prabowo,” he said. The Head of SPPG Campago Guguk Bulek Bukittinggi Dua, Dian Purnam Sari, stated that currently they serve around 2,979 beneficiaries, including students, toddlers, breastfeeding mothers, and the elderly. She expressed thanks for the direct visit by Ade Rezki Pratama to provide motivation and new enthusiasm. “SPPG Campago Guguk Bulek Duo continues to strive to provide real benefits with good quality and is gladly accepted by the beneficiaries, especially students,” she added.
