Indonesian General Practitioners Association Signs MoU with CTARSA Foundation
The Central Board of the Indonesian General Practitioners Association (PDUI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the CTARSA Foundation to strengthen the role of general practitioners in providing benefits and service to the community. The signing took place during the inauguration of the PDUI central board for the 2026-2029 period at the JS Luwansa Hotel in South Jakarta on Saturday (27/06/2026).
The MoU was signed by representatives from both parties, namely PDUI Secretary General Dr. Hartati B. Bangsa, MKK, and Andra Lesmana, Head of Corporate Communication at CTARSA Foundation. The agreement reinforces the ongoing cooperation between the CTARSA Foundation and PDUI, which has previously collaborated on various social service activities for underprivileged communities, including in Muara Angke, North Jakarta, and Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta.
Andra Lesmana stated that in line with the foundation’s health pillar, the contribution of general practitioners is essential for collaborating with CTARSA Foundation to provide free healthcare services for underprivileged communities across Indonesia. He noted that the foundation’s chairperson, Anita Ratnasari Tanjung, is committed to realising equitable and optimal healthcare services reaching remote areas of the country.
The new PDUI central board for the 2026-2029 period was officially inaugurated by the Chairman of the Indonesian Medical Association (PB IDI), Dr. dr. Slamet Budiarto, S.H., M.H.Kes. The inauguration marked the beginning of the new leadership under Dr. Ardiansyah Bahar, M.K.M. as General Chairman and Dr. Hartati as Secretary General, along with the entire central board who will carry out the organisation’s mandate for the 2026-2029 period.
The event was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Otto Hasibuan, S.H., M.M., Deputy Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections of the Republic of Indonesia, who attended as the keynote speaker.
Dr. Ardiansyah emphasised that the next three years represent a strategic momentum to strengthen the position of general practitioners as the backbone of primary healthcare services, as well as strategic partners like the CTARSA Foundation, in building a resilient, high-quality, equitable, and sustainable health system. He stated that PDUI is committed to being a professional organisation that protects, empowers, and fights for the interests of general practitioners. With a spirit of collaboration and unity, PDUI aims to ensure general practitioners have a stronger position in the national health system, enabling them to provide the best healthcare services for the Indonesian people.
Under the spirit of ‘One IDI, One PDUI’, the central board affirmed its commitment to being a strong, adaptive, and progressive professional organisation in advocating for general practitioners, strengthening primary healthcare services, and serving as a strategic partner to the government in realising a more robust, high-quality, and community-oriented Indonesian health system.
