Indonesian Exports Reach US$ 25.30 Billion in April 2026, Growing by 21.98%
The Indonesian Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded Indonesia’s export value at US$ 25.30 billion in April 2026. This figure represents a 21.98% increase (year-on-year) compared to the same period in the previous year.
Pudji Ismartini, Deputy for Methodology and Statistical Information at BPS, revealed that oil and gas exports reached US$ 1.15 billion, a decrease of 1.20%. Conversely, non-oil and gas exports rose by 23.36% to a value of US$ 24.15 billion.
“In April, the export value rose by 21.98% to 25.3 billion dollars,” Pudji stated during a press conference on Tuesday (2/6/2026).
Cumulative exports for the period of January-April 2026 reached US$ 92.15 billion, an increase of 5.48% compared to the same period last year. During this period, oil and gas exports were recorded at US$ 4.41 billion, down 8.30%, while non-oil and gas exports rose by 6.28% to US$ 87.74 billion.
The primary contribution to the increase in export value came from the manufacturing sector, which accounted for 7.71% of total exports with a value of US$ 75.57 billion. Manufacturing exports grew by 9.78%.
