Jakarta — The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Warsaw, Poland, continues to strengthen economic diplomacy through the organisation of the Indonesia-Poland Tourism Business Forum 2026.

Agus Heryana, Head of Chancery at KBRI Warsaw, stated that the forum recorded significant transaction potential of USD 7.579 million, reflecting strong interest from the Polish market in Indonesian tourism destinations.

The forum, held in Warsaw on 9 March 2026, resulted in 693 business matchings between tourism industry players from both countries.

Heryana explained that this was the fourth edition and represents one of the primary platforms for bringing together tourism industry players to explore concrete cooperation opportunities and expand the Polish tourist market to Indonesia.

KBRI Warsaw, in collaboration with ASITA, presented 21 Indonesian tourism industry players (sellers) comprising tour operators and hotel representatives from various leading Indonesian destinations, including Bali, Lombok, North Sumatra, Bangka Belitung, and several other destinations.

Additionally, 33 Polish tourism industry players (buyers) participated in the forum to explore cooperation opportunities in tour package arrangements, destination promotion, and development of the Polish tourist market to Indonesia.

Previously, the forum had received a larger number of participant registrations. However, the ongoing geopolitical situation in the Middle East impacted the mobility of some international participants.
