Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh urges Indonesian citizens to remain vigilant amid Middle East situation
Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh has urged all Indonesian nationals in the Saudi Arabian region to remain calm and avoid panic, whilst increasing vigilance regarding security developments in their respective areas of residence.
The advisory was issued by the Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh in response to escalating security dynamics in the Middle East region.
In a post on social media platform X on Saturday, the embassy also requested Indonesian citizens to monitor information from official and reliable sources and comply with directives and advisories from Saudi Arabian government authorities and the Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh.
Indonesian nationals in the country have also been urged to register with the Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh through the portal https://peduliwni.kemlu.go.id/beranda.html.
Nationals have additionally been urged to join the official WhatsApp group of Indonesian community associations in their respective areas and are asked to prepare and store important documents, such as passports, iqama (residence permits), and other identification, in both physical and digital formats for easy access if required.
“Indonesian nationals are requested to postpone non-urgent travel to countries or regions that could be affected by an escalation in the security situation. For those with planned flights, they should immediately contact their airlines to obtain the latest information regarding schedules and flight status,” according to the Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh’s statement.

The Indonesian Embassy in Riyadh stated it would continue to closely monitor the developing situation and coordinate with relevant authorities.
